At its open meeting on August 15, 2024, the Railroad Commission proposed a rulemaking regarding Form T-4B and federal updates in §3.70 and various rules in Chapter 8. 

The public comment period has been extended and comments will be accepted until 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 15, 2024. The changes include adopting several recent PHMSA Rulemaking Changes to Chapter 8 of the Texas Administrative Code, as well as a streamlined "Single-Signature" T4-B Permit Filing.
